I have thoroughly enjoyed your site. As the webmaster for the Richwood High School web page, I have added a link to your site from our page. Please feel free to add our school web address to your site. Also, concerned citizens of Richwood are putting together a rally on January 7 to bring attention to the need for a dam on the South Fork of the Cherry River. With your permission, we would like to use the pictures that were posted on your site in a power point presentation to demonstrate the great need for a dam. Mary Jane Williams <mjwillia access.k12.wv.us> Richwood, West Virginia - Monday, December 29, 2003 at 17:54:04 (EST) My dad is from Richwood so for me there is not a time in my life I can remember a place as great as this. I would also love to see it more. Now that my family told me about this I will be able to see it more. Thanks Renea Groves <rgroves buckeye-express.com> Toledo, Ohio - Sunday, December 28, 2003 at 23:15:45 (EST) The very best of a happy holiday season and Happy New Year to all my family and friends in Richwood and around the country. Several of us Richwooders living in Ohio want to come down for it. Also, did the Fire Department meet their goal for Chrismas gifts and contributions. Virginia Kimble <Ginny427 webtv.net> Ohio, - Sunday, December 14, 2003 at 09:51:17 (EST) Haven't been back to Richwood for a number of years, but always consider it 'home territory' to this country boy from Hominy Falls! Still live in south-central Michigan, but going to winter in Florida and South Carolina this year since I'm now retired. Our two adult children both live in the Atlanta, GA. area. Hope to get back to town for the 1964 '40th' reunion in 2004 sometime! Let me know when and where it is! John Hudkins <hudkinsjj aol.com> Flushing, Michigan - Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at 08:00:41 (EST) Hello! I lived in Richwood from 1956 - 1959 and absolutly loved it. We moved when I was six. Our house was at 119 Front Street next door to Jr. Turner's store. I'll never forget my friends from then. I'd like to see them again. If anyone knows where Billy Jenkins is or Scrappy Keener let me know. The last time I was in Richwood other than passing through, was for Clyde O'Dell's wake. Is Gladys still living? I think it was two years ago I came to the Southside Reunion and didn't know a soul. The ramp caserole was well worth the trip!
