I was Born in Richwood 1941 in a home built by Cherry Boom and Lumber Company. I lived many locations in the City, but and remember the old House at the South end of the wooden swinging bridge near the Cherry Boom and Lumber Company. My dad and his brothers worked in that old saw mill for at least 15 years. For information on raising Gensing, drop me a note at Keslernews

I'm a former Richwooder. Was raised up Little Laurel. I was in the Richwood National Guards 1950 to 1952. Have great memories of Little Laurel. Swimming At the Blue hole, walking 2 and one half miles with all the kids to ride the school bus to Richwood High. Hope to get home for the next Little Laurel home coming. I can not believe it has been 52 years since I left Richwood. Richwood will always be home to me.

Hi, Richwood is my home town, I was born & raised at Lafrank. Attended the old Dain School. Does any one remember Dain school? Would love to see some of the class pictures of Mr Marsh's classmates. Lost all my pictures in a house fire. My husband Emery A. Hunt & I left Richwood in 1954 & came to Ohio. But Richwood will always be home to us. Some times just sit & reminisce about Richwood. Great memories.

This is a great site. I am Richwood / Little Laurel every year visiting friends and relatives. I lived up Little Laurel until 1960 when we moved away. I do love those ramps and am fortunate that I get some given to me every year.

What a gret site, I didn't graduate from Richwood, but I spent most of my summers and vacations there. I loved the going to the Grille and hanging out at the newstand. I made a lot of good friends there and have only happy memories of the town and people. I still love to go for homecoming when I can. Keep up the good work.

Meet my wife Katherine Green in Richwood, worked at rubberplant & mines, Kaiser plant in Ravenswood, WV. moved away in 1965-retired from general motors in 2000. Always went back to Richwood for everything we could, kept up with old friend.bought a summer home on little laurel, 3 miles from Richwood. We just got back from Richwood, my husband went down for the ramp feed. I always enjoy going back home. I have been gone from there for 39 yrs now and I still miss it. Richwood will always be home. I want to say hello to every one I know would love to see you all.

Although I am on the west coast now, I can still smell the ramps and fried potatoes at the various ramp festivals come April and May. I miss the small town atmosphere and the wonderful people there.

Good to see a site for ole Richwood! Graduated in 68 from RHS! Reading over the other messages on here! I remember the bands and all the dances! Nothing like good music and fun following a Friday night ballgame at the Legion or Armory! Richwood is where I owned my first GTO! I also would love for somebody out there to submit more pictures. All of mine were lost! Take care!

Just found this wonderful site! Hello to all back home! Would love to see some pictures of the late 60's and maybe 70's of Richwood and RHS! Graduated in 69! Some of the best times of my life were in Richwood when things were really on the move there! Viva la ramp!

I have signed the first Richwood register saying that I bet I was the oldest to sign in. I'm 82.6. Someone asked when did I go on the point system. I enjoy hearing from students and friends in Richwood. The Charlottle Observer ran a whole page on Richwood and the Ramp Festival. The town is getting on the map and people know it's in West Virgina.

I'm so glad the web page is back. I too will always think of Richwood as home. I graduated from RHS in 1957. The 50's was a good time to grow up in Richwood. I haven't been back in years, but with this site, it a way to visit without the trip.
