Tannery was my first school.... and graduated High School in 1956. Played the tuba in the band and worked as a "soda jerk" at the Richwood Newsstand after the football games. I loved those mountains and woods which, I guess, is the reason I live in PA with its hills and woods. However, I never did like ramps and I still don't (no offense to those who love them, including my brother). Best to you all!

Graduated in 1961, would enjoy hearing from old or new friends. Is there going to be a Tannery reunion this year? Does anyone know when?

Here are a few of the reasons why I love Richwood and my W. Va. mountains. The miles of beautiful roadways and natural scenery and the Cranberry Back Country and Cranberry Wilderness areas which is black bear country, also a lot of deer in the area and heard of mountain lions being in the area just have never seen one. And miles of unmarked trails, (the area is part of a black bear sanctuary) and I love watching those black bear and deers.

This is a fantastic sight, I am so glad I found it... I am part of the class of 1963 that is having their forty year reunion this coming August and we have many missing classmates that we want to get in touch with desperately.... If you were part of the class of 63 please get in touch with me or Karen Kessler at kesslerwvaol.com or Judy Hollifield at lumberjack63rhshotmail.com.... We really don't want any of our old classmates to miss this special time... Alot of us did not get to stay long enough to graduate with our classmates but that does not make a difference. If you were part of our class get in touch ASAP.. I hope to see all of you the first weekend in August..

I love Richwood and the people there are the greatest. I left in 1964 and went into the Army. I retired with 30 years and now work for Department of Defense in Wuerzburg, Germany. I usually visit Richwood each year and the memories last forever. Take care and I am looking forward to my visit in June 03.
