The Freshness Burgers in town was at the Burger shop in 1967 and the NewsStand ( Bob Smith ) was their in '67, the Gulf Station was their when I was growing up in the 50s and 60s

I still love the sixties and I hope this picture relive your childhood through and memories of Richwood WV. This picture was taken in 1993 and this could be a mirror image of the 60s. I still got memories of the Coke Ovens at Saxman and the Rainbow Grill ( good old hot dog.chilidog,or a bowl of chile for lunch $.025),bowling alley,Alice's Restaurant,Oakford brick street and my dad favorite place was Dew Drop INN on Riverside Drive. Also the Campolio grocery store and the Tannery Grade School ,Tannery GYM on Riverside Drive & Chestnut street and My playground was the old Richwood Paper Mill and the swinging bridge, played a big part in my life in Richwood. I hope this photograph helps rekindle some interest in one of the most beautiful city in WV.
