I grew up in Richwood in the 50's & 60's and have such wonderful happy memories of the town and the people who lived there. I fished in the south fork of cherry river and went swimming at Cherry River Falls and on Friday night went by Jack for chilidogs, the sixties were the greatest and I remember when Richwood WV was a booming town, If you went shopping or just to meet friends on Friday or Saturday night,it was hard to walk across the streets of Main & Oakford Ave. and some days it was so crowded a person had to walk in the streets to go from place to place,the sidewalks were jam packed with Richwooders.
