Monongahela National Forest (North of Richwood</a>) Postcard

Take a scenic drive of Marlinton Road (WV-39) from the town of Richwood to the town of Marlinton is approx. 39 miles and goes to the state line toward Warm Springs, VA. Pretty drive and passes through Kennison Mountain and the Mountain drive takes you through the Monongahela National Forest. As you travel through Nicholas County and Pocahontas County you will see some of the most beautiful scenery in West Virginia. If you are travel through Marlinton Road the last weekend of September, sample some of the food at the Annually Marlinton Road Kill cook-off in Pocahontas County.
